Abstract

The Margaret C. Buck collection contains an oral history recording and transcript of an interview conducted by Gary Wheeler with Buck in the summer of 1979. In the interview, Buck recalled her work as a physical education teacher in the Minnesota towns of Plainview, Canby, and Chisholm during the 1940s. During her conversation, she explained the economic conditions, athletic conditions, and the role of teachers during World II.
