This collection consists of two duplicate bound volumes of a special edition Mankato Free Press from 27 June 1952. This edition was compiled to commemorate the centennial of the city. Newspaper articles from throughout the history of Mankato were combined with commentary and illustrations from 1952 to produce this history of the area.

This collection consists of items pertaining to the Mankato Junior Chamber of Commerce, also know as the Mankato Jaycees. This group is a service organization composed of young men (21 – 35 years old) from the Mankato area. The Jaycees are involved in a number of community improvement projects. The collection consists of meeting minutes, informational and organizational materials for the various service projects of the group, photographs, and financial records for the Mankato Jaycees.

The Mankato Kiwanis Club collection documents the administrative records and contributions of a long-standing service club in the greater Mankato community. The collection consists of records of the club and its committees beginning in the 1920s. The collection is divided into several series: club records, committee records, district and international materials and individual club member files. The bulk of the records begin in the 1980s.

Mankato, Minnesota Maps. Mankato State University Geography Department, 1984 - 1986
This collection consists of three maps constructed by the Geography Department at Mankato State University. One of the maps is of environmentally sensitive areas of Mankato, Minnesota, and was created in 1984. Another map is a 1986 zoning map of Mankato/North Mankato. The final map contains information on changes in Mankato population from 1970 to 1980, and was drawn from 1986 census reports.

The Mankato, Minnesota Quadrangles collection contains two duplicate maps of the Mankato West Quadrangle and two duplicate maps of the Mankato East Quadrangle. Both the east and west quadrangles are on a scale of 1:62500. The United States Department of the Interior Geological Survey developed the maps from aerial photographs taken during 1949.
