This collection consists of a set of slides, reel-to-reel tapes, and a cassette tape, which were all part of a multi-media presentation on the history of Amboy, Minnesota. This history was compiled to celebrate the centennial of the towns founding in 1879. The presentation was entitled “Days of Planting—Years of Harvest. A Centennial History of Amboy, Minnesota.”

The James “Jim” Eric Chalgren collection consists of many different endeavors in the life of a Minnesota gay rights activist and poet that lived through the second half of the 1900s. The collection contains many published and unpublished creative works, gay rights and AIDS related studies, as well as a glimpse into the personal life of Jim Chalgren through correspondents and note keeping.

The Chapman’s New Sectional Map of Minnesota collection contains a 30” x 24” map of the Minnesota Territory dated ca. 1856. Silas Chapman published this map in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
