Abstract

This collection, large in subject matter and physical size, covers the President's activities, correspondence, and concerns since the creation of the higher institute of learning in Mankato in 1868. Though the majority of the collection is composed of materials from 1990 to the present, earlier materials also constitute a significant collection of materials chronicling the development of the university from its roots as a normal school.
