"A History of the Kiwanis Club and Camp Patterson". Pamphlet, 1980
This collection consists of two copies of a pamphlet, published in 1980, which outlines the founding of the Kiwanis Clubs and the history of the Downtown Kiwanis Club of Mankato, and its summer project, Camp Patterson. The pamphlet traces the history of the Mankato Kiwanis, and highlights many of their community service endeavors. Much of the pamphlet was written by Theodore L. Nydahl, former professor of history at Mankato State University.

This collection consists of the records of the Mankato and Minnesota Valley Chapters of the American Association for the United Nations. This was a non-profit organization that intended to promote the ideals behind the United Nations. It was in operation in Mankato, Minnesota from 1960 until 1973. The collection is made up of minutes from meetings, correspondence, membership lists, and financial records of the Association.

This collection consists of a typescript copy of the history of the Blue Earth County Chapter of the American National Red Cross, written by Dr. Anna Wiecking. Local records of the Red Cross were lost in a fire in l965. This history is based on remaining records and personal recollections, as well as newspaper clippings.

The account discusses his family’s move to the United States from Sweden, his youth in Sweden and the U.S., his career as a construction worker and contractor, and other various reminiscences from his youth until 1971.
