Abstract
The James Kenneth Adams collection contains an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Adams and Richard Buck during the fall of 1989. Adams began his teaching career in 1956 and worked his first few years at schools in Iowa, Michigan, and Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Following his teaching job in Sleepy Eye, Adams became an art teacher at Mankato High School in Mankato, Minnesota. In the interview, Adams focused on the areas of change and continuity that he perceived occurred during his teaching career.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for the graduate level Educational Foundations course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
