Albrecht, Janet, 1935-2016. Oral History Interview, 2008
Abstract
The Janet Albrecht collection consists of an audio recording, biographical form, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Albrecht and Mark Sheehy in April 2008. Albrecht is a parent of two students who attended Wilson Campus School. In this interview, Albrecht talks about being a parent of students at the school, different activities that her daughters participated in, and what she thought of the school.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Wilson Campus School Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical / Historical
Janet Albrecht was born January 10, 1935 in New Ulm, Minnesota. Janet married Kenneth Albrecht in 1957, and the couple has two daughters, Elizabeth and Kirsten. Elizabeth graduated from Wilson Campus School in 1976, and Kirsten graduated a year later from East High School. Albrecht attended the University of Minnesota for Occupational Therapy, and worked as a therapist for many years. Albrecht also ran a truck farm, which brought vegetables to stores around Mankato, for many years.
