The University Photograph Collection consists of photographs taken on behalf of Minnesota State University, Mankato and its predecessor institutions. These photographs are pictures of students, faculty, buildings, sculptures on campus and the occasional regional location. Many of these photographs have been digitized, and can be found in ARCH: University Archives Digital Collections, https://arch.lib.mnsu.edu.

The University Student Publications collection consists of materials produced by students at Minnesota State University, Mankato and its predecessor institutions, beginning in 1888. The collection contains official student publications, requiring approval by the university, the student senate, or pubUcations board. The collection is divided into four series: Creative Arts Magazines, News Publications, Correspondence, and Yearbooks.
Unofficial University Student Publications. Collection, 1926-Ongoing
The Unofficial University Student Publications collection consists of materials produced by students at Minnesota State University, Mankato, beginning in 1926. The collection contains unofficial student publications, which were printed without approval by the university, the student senate, or publications board. These publications did not receive funding from the college or university.

Valley Campus Physical Education Building Cornerstone. Collection, 1909-1940
The Valley Campus Physical Education Building Cornerstone Collection consists of items recovered in 1982 from the time capsule that was placed in one of the walls of the Physical Education Building that was constructed in 1939. The collection contains statistical data, yearbooks, journals, and pamphlets.
Video Services. Collection, 1985-ongoing
The Video Services collection documents Minnesota State University, Mankato events including commencement ceremonies, lectureships, other university ceremonies and celebrations, as well as other miscellaneous activities. The Videos are in VHS and DVD formats.
Wascher, Geoffrey. Collection, 1906-1959
The Wascher Collection consists of ten postcards of Mankato and the surrounding area and one postcard of the U.S.S. Minnesota. The postcards range in date from the 1900s to the 1950s and include images of downtown Mankato, the State Normal School, the State Teachers College, and Eagle Lake.
