Riverbend Association. Papers, 1960 - 1972
This collection consists of items from the Riverbend Association, a citizens group that was concerned with plans to build a reservoir on the Blue Earth River to control flooding. Included in the collection are the group’s policy statement, information released by the Corps of Engineers about the proposed reservoir, photocopies of newspaper articles about the Riverbend Association or the reservoir proposal, and a map of the proposed Blue Earth River Reservoir.

The collection primarily consists of the business ledger Robert Wardlaw used for his trading post and store in Mankato from 1855-1858. The collection also contains a typed transcript of the ledger and a manuscript about the Woods Brothers in Minnesota (Robert Wardlaw changed his name from Absalom Woods).
