This collection consists of a lithograph of Mankato, Minnesota, ca. 1895. It was produced from a sketch by William Henry Allen for the Saturday Evening Spectator of Minneapolis. It is entitled “Birds Eye View of the Center of the City of Mankato”. The lithograph shows the main buildings in the downtown area, and identifies them by the business name, which is written on the front of the building.

This collection consists of items relating to lone Louk, of Mankato, Minnesota. Included in this collection are an outline done by Mrs. Louk, which discusses the 1933 Hormel Company strike. The other component of the collection is an oral history interview conducted with lone in 1977. In it, she discusses her background and what led her to Mankato State University, where she became the first student to graduate with a minor in Women's Studies.

The Lyon, Laura A. Collection consists of materials that Laura Lyon collected while a student at Mankato State Normal School. Included in her collection is a training manual for the kindergarten department, some photographs, a calendar, songbook, commencement program and a letter to President Charles Cooper after the fire in 1922.
