Abstract
This collection consists of items relating to lone Louk, of Mankato, Minnesota. Included in this collection are an outline done by Mrs. Louk, which discusses the 1933 Hormel Company strike. The other component of the collection is an oral history interview conducted with lone in 1977. In it, she discusses her background and what led her to Mankato State University, where she became the first student to graduate with a minor in Women's Studies.

Biographical / Historical
lone Louk was bom in September 1912, in Greenfield, Iowa. She married Harry E. Louk in 1935. They had six children together. When Harry Louk retired from the Hormel Company in Austin, Minnesota, they moved to Mankato. lone Louk was the first student to graduate with a minor in Women's Studies at Mankato State University, in 1976. lone Louk died in April 1984.
