Abstract

This collection consists of a photocopy of a typescript written by Thomas J. Adolphson, of St. Peter, Minnesota. This work was submitted as partial requirement for Area Studies: Wilderness and the American Mind, at Gustavus Adolphus College, in 1975. The paper outlines the court cases surrounding the Reserve Mining Company, in Silver Bay, Minnesota. The cases stemmed from mining tailings and pollution to Lake Superior.
