Barth, Frank W., 1888 - 1983. Oral History Interview, 1975.
Abstract
The Frank W. Earth collection contains an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and a transcript of an interview conducted with Barth in 1975 by Leona Barth Schwiem for the Blue Earth County Historical Society and the American Association of University Women, Mankato, Branch. In the interview, Barth recalled moving to Mankato around 1893 and the changes in the city during his lifetime. The focus of the interview concerned Earth's job with the Mankato Electric Traction Company and the streetcars that provided the city's public transportation before the use of buses.
