Overview This collection consists of two copies of a pamphlet, published in 1980, which outlines the founding of the Kiwanis Clubs and the history of the Downtown Kiwanis Club of Mankato, and its summer project, Camp Patterson. The pamphlet traces the history of the Mankato Kiwanis, and highlights many of their community service endeavors. Much of the pamphlet was written by Theodore L. Nydahl, former professor of history at Mankato State University.

The paper outlines the court cases surrounding the Reserve Mining Company, in Silver Bay, Minnesota. The cases stemmed from mining tailings and pollution to Lake Superior.
