The History Department Collection consists of items from the History Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The collection is made up of correspondence, reports, studies, annual budgets, and departmental records. The collection also covers the Northern Great Plains History Conference from the 1970s and 1992, and Committee meetings that addressed topics that arose within the History Department.
Home Economics 1951-1976
The Home Economics program officially began at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1948, and continues to this day as Family Consumer Science (FCS). Since then the program has changed several different divisions/departments in the school, and has continued to educate students about the importance of Home Economics. The collection contains meeting minutes, program reviews, annual reports, and correspondences from the department.
Homecoming Papers. Collection, 1928-Ongoing
The Homecoming Papers collection consists of a yearly folder about the preparation for Homecoming at Minnesota State University, Mankato and its predecessor institutions. Included in the folders are newspaper articles about different Homecoming events, as well as photographs of events that took place during the week.
