The collection is divided into three series: Newsletters, Literature Reviews & Student Writing, and Department Records.

This collection consists of items related to the Entre Nous Study Club of Mankato, Minnesota. Included in the collection is a volume of meeting minutes and membership lists from 1955 until 1966. Also in the collection are three volumes of scrapbooks kept by the Study Club. These volumes include newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, and miscellaneous memorabilia from the Study Club's community activities.

The Arlen Ingolf Erdahl collection contains materials about Erdahl’s seven years in the Minnesota House of Representatives and his campaign for Minnesota Secretary of State in 1970. However, the majority of the collection is related to Erdahl’s job as a state representative. The collection is arranged in chronological order from 1963 through 1970. Each year has been divided between into three series of information: Correspondence, Congressional Records, and Miscellaneous documents.

This collection consists of a map drawn by the Geography Department of Mankato State University, in 1981. The map shows the locations of various ethnic groups in Blue Earth County in 1890. Nationalities included are: Irish, Swedish, French, German, Norwegian, and others. Also included in the collection is a paper explaining how the information used to construct this map was obtained.
