Abstract This collection consists of twelve volumes of account books once belonging to the Andrews and Son stores. The businesses were owned by David P. Andrews and his son Charles W. Andrews. The stores operated by the duo were located in Winona City, Minnesota, and later in Faribault. The store sold a variety of items throughout its years of existence, including paper goods, books, groceries, and hardware items. Abstract

The Salet collection contains photographs and newspaper clippings of Salet family members and the Salet's Department Store in Mankato, Minnesota. Besides photos and clippings, items included are advertisements, three drawings of the original store, and awards received by Salet family members from the Jewish Home for the Aged of the Northwest and the Mankato Exchange Club. This collection pertains exclusively to the Mankato branch of Salet stores.
