"Biographical Sketch of Herman Pfaender." 1952
This collection consists of positive photocopies of a typescript, which describes the life of Herman Pfaender. The biography was written by, his daughter, Alwina Pfaender Withington. The sketch discusses Herman Pfaender’s studies at the University of Minnesota and his later exploits as a resident of New Ulm, Minnesota. The work fills eight pages, with the ninth page being a listing of lyrics to German songs.

This collection consists of a typescript written by Ms. Barbara Blanchard, entitled “Fairmont’s Bicentennial History”. The article contains an account of the 1975 and 1976 celebrations of Martin County, Minnesota’s bicentennial. Ms. Blanchard’s account focuses on events held in the city of Fairmont. In addition, the article contains information about the bicentennial planning, parades, and a local history produced in conjunction with the celebration.

This history of the church was originally constructed from pages six through eight of the register. The register contains birth and death records, along with financial information.

This collection consists of items pertaining to Lorin Cray of Mankato, Minnesota. Cray was a Civil War veteran, a lawyer, and a supporter of the YMCA and YWCA in Mankato. The collection consists of newspaper clippings, photographs of the Crays and their home, a memorial card for Nellie Cray, a niece of Lorin Cray, and a volume of a letter-copying book. This book contains copies of letters written by Cray on legal and financial matters.

This collection consists of the autograph book of Ida E. Dyer, formerly of Mapleton, Minnesota. Dyer had her friends sign this book. Occasionally they wrote small poems for her or included pictures. The signatures are dated from 1878 to 1888. Those who signed the book listed Mapleton or the surrounding area as their home.
