Abstract This collection consists of an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and a transcript of an interview conducted with Laurence W. Murphy of Austin, Minnesota. He worked for the Hormel Company in Austin from 1923 until 1964, and this interview focuses on his employment there. Murphy was a division superintendent with Hormel, and he discusses his work at Hormel, and the strike of 1933 from a management point of view.
