Purfeest, Charles. "Old Seppmann Mill, 1864 - 1890", Paper, 1965
Abstract
This collection consists of a paper written by Charles Purfeest about the old Seppmann Mill, which is west of Mankato, Minnesota. The mill was a wind-powered grist mill, which was built in 1864. The mill is now a historic site in Minneopa State Park. The paper outlines the history of the mill from its construction to 1890. Hand drawn sketches of the mill and a diagram of its inner workings are also included in the paper. The paper was written in 1965, as an assignement for Dr. Bert Burns’ Historical Geography class at Mankato State College.
