District and International Series, 1975 - 2021
Scope and Contents
Kiwanis International has a three-level organization structure. Kiwanis International is made up of Districts and Districts are made up of clubs from a geographic region. The Mankato Kiwanis Club is in the Minnesota-Dakotas District of Kiwanis which includes Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The records of Kiwanis International are held at the Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
This series is a sampling of materials sent to clubs from both the district and international level. It includes membership recruitment materials, information on international fundraisers, newsletters, convention information, recognition information, and manuals. It is very limited in breadth and scope. Reports to the District or International from the Mankato Kiwanis Club are in the Club Records Series. A Mankato Kiwanis Club member served as a district Lieutenant Governor and this series contains some of his administrative paperwork.
