Abstract The Wayne Eckart collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Eckart and Jeffery Gallup during the fall of 1987. Eckart began his career as a science teacher at Welcome, Minnesota (1967-1970). Following his experience at Welcome, Eckart completed a master's degree and was hired to teach at the Waldorf-Pemberton public school in 1972.
