Biographical / Historical
Alice Day Pratt was born Alice Anderberg in Grove City. Minnesota. She was admitted to Mankato State Normal School in September 1916. After the Spring quarter, Pratt left the school to come back in the Spring 1923 quarter. She left school again, and returned in the Fall 1928 quarter. When she was not at Mankato State Teachers College, Pratt was at Northern Iowa Normal School, taking the same classes she would have at Mankato. She graduated from Mankato State Teachers College in 1928. There is no indication where she taught.
