Abstract

The John D. Beelman collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Beelman and Nicholas Skaden in October 2007. Beelman attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2006-2007. In this interview, Beelman talks about his decisions to attend college, his experiences at college, his favorite professors, and what he would like to do after graduating.

This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical / Historical

John D. Beelman graduated from Bloomington Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota and then attended Minnesota State University, Mankato. Beelman attended MSU during the fall of 2006 until December 2007. He majored in speech communication and minored in marketing. Beelman was a member of the speech communication club and the Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society. Beelman graduated December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
