Biographical / Historical

Walter W. Carlson was born 8 June 1902. In 1926, he graduated from Reppert School of Auctioneering in Decatur, Indiana. Carlson lived in Triumph, now Trimont, Minnesota. He was an auctioneer in southern Minnesota from 1926 through 1962. Also, he brokered real estate from 1947 through 1962. Besides his employment endeavors, Carlson wrote articles about local history for the Fairmont Daily Sentinel and took an active role in the Martin County Historical Society.
