Biographical / Historical
The North Star Cat Club, Inc. was officially formed on November 16, 1961. The group held meetings to discuss issues pertaining to the ownership of cats. They were also interested in the raising of purebred cats, and controlling the cat population. The club was affiliated with the American Cat Fanciers Association, and also actively supported the local animal shelter and the Sibley Park Zoo.
