 Collection — Multiple Containers
Identifier: SMHC Collection 0140

Abstract

The James Hruska collection consists of three manuscripts and one public address detailing the history of Waterville, Minnesota and Le Sueur County, Minnesota. Minnesota State Senator A. O Sundet gave the address in May 1967. Sundet’s speech pertained to the history of Le Sueur County.

The manuscripts document the history of Waterville and the surrounding area. The Junior Historical Society of Waterville compiled one manuscript entitled “Our Veterans” in 1946. This compilation documents individuals who served in the United States Armed Forces. P. O. Leary wrote a second manuscript entitled “Early History of Waterville.” The third manuscript is titled “Waterville in Le Sueur County” but the author and date are unknown.
