Biographical / Historical

The Zonta Club of Mankato was formed September 13, 1973. Business and professional women created Zonta Club International in 1919. The goal of the organization was to elevate the status of women. Local organizations exist throughout the United State and the rest of the world. Zonta Club of Mankato does work within the community. For example, partnerships were created with Habitat for Humanity and Pedal Past Poverty. In addition, fund raisers and fashion shows are used to donate money to a wide variety of causes---both for local women and for women internationally.
