Paulson, Harvey N. 1903 - 1993. Papers, 1957 - 1975
Abstract
This collection consists of items pertaining to Harvey N. Paulson, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Paulson was a lifelong farmer, served in the Minneesota House of Representatives, and served as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Minnesota House of Representatives. The collection consists of his correspondence, newspaper clippings, a photograph, and two items of campaign material. Also included in the collection is an oral history interview conducted with Paulson in 1977. The transcript audiocassette tape and CD duplicate of the audiocassette of this interview are available. In the interview, he speaks about his family farm, his legislative experience, agricultural organizations, and his colleagues in the legislature.

Biographical / Historical
Harvey N. Paulson was bom in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota in February of 1903. He was a lifelong farmer in that area, and served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1957 - 1963. Paulson lost in his 1962 attempt at reelection. He was then appointed Sergeant-at-Arms for the House, a position he held until 1973. Henry Paulson died in April 1993.
