Biographical / Historical
Palm was a jeweler in Ortonville, Minnesota. In 1927, he operated a trading post and sold Indian artwork in Kilbourn, now called Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Later, he opened a trading post in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the name White Eagle. His interest in selling the products of American Indians lead him to dealings with the Seminole in Florida, the Lakota in South Dakota, and the various native nations in the southwestern United States. After opening his business in Albuquerque, Palm continued to live in that city.
