Abstract
The Carol Rhodes oral history interview collection consists of a transcript of an interview conducted between Rhodes and Kris Bigalk during the spring of 1990. Rhodes worked as an English teacher at the Harmony High School in Harmony, Minnesota. She discussed the changes in her teaching experience between 1965 and 1985 with a focus on changes in state legislation and requirements along with transformations in relationships with co-workers, administrators, students, parents, and the surrounding community.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for the graduate level Educational Foundations course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
