Abstract

The Arvilla E. Otto collection contains an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette and transcript of an interview conducted between Otto and Sandi Glenn during the spring of 1990. In the interview, Otto discussed her career as an elementary school teacher in both rural and public schools between 1935 and 1981. Otto focused on the changes that occurred during her years of teaching.

This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for the graduate level Educational Foundations course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
