Abstract

The Yvonne Janning collection consists of an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Janning and Deborah Overholtzer during February 1991. Janning worked as the home economics teacher and Early Childhood Education Coordinator in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. In the interview, Janning discussed her life experiences, her family, and the continuities and changes that she witnessed in education during her teaching career between 1962 and 1991.

This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for the graduate level Educational Foundations course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
