Biographical / Historical

The Portfolio Club was organized in March 1947. Its stated purpose was as a study club for Mankato women. Its original sponsors were Mrs. J. E. Brett and Mrs. R. O. Eberhart. Members of the group were to prepare topics such as book reviews or papers for presentation to the group. The organization supports scholarships to Minnesota State University, Mankato, and continues to fimction as a study club.
