Abstract

The Northern Pacific Railway Company collection contains 348 pamphlets. These items contain information concerning the Northern Pacific's annual reports, the reports of branch lines, and immigrant guides to raihoad land in the western states. These pamphlets are duplicates from the complete collection of Northern Pacific papers owned by the Minnesota Historical Society. Due to the varied nature of the items that relate not only to the Northern Pacific Railway Company but also to smaller raihoads and raihoad related companies, the collection is arranged into sixteen separate series.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Minnesota Historical Society transferred this collection in November 1972.
