Abstract
This collection consists of an unpublished typescript written by Mr. Emil Felske of Janesville, Minnesota. The topic of the typescript is the town of Cream, Minnesota, which no longer exists. The town was located in Blue Earth County, near the present town of Pemberton, Minnesota. The town site was taken over in the building of the Alphabet Railroad line (Albert Lea to Mankato) about 1907. The typescript discusses the former residents of Cream, and the different services that were offered during the town’s existence.

Biographical / Historical
Emil Felske was bon on March 9, 1889, on his family’s farm northeast of Janesville, Minnesota. His parents were August and Augusta Felske. Emil married Mary E. Schmidt of Janesville in 1917. They farmed in McPherson Township, Blue Earth County, until retirement in 1960, when they moved into Janesville. Mrs. Felske died in April 1972. Emil Felske Died in October 1982.
