Abstract
The Gerald Duane Hansen collection consists of an audiocassette tape, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Hansen and Ranne J. Freese during the fall of 1988. Hansen worked as an elementary school principal between 1966 and 1987 in two North Mankato, Minnesota schools. In the interview, Hansen discussed the changes and areas of continuity that occurred during his career as an educator and administrator.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for the graduate level Educational Foundations course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
