Abstract
The Godfred Marti collection contains two diaries and a transcription for each diary. Marti grew up on a farm near Sleepy Eye, Brown County, Minnesota and continued living in the area during his adulthood. The diaries contain information about his life and the work he did as a farmer between 1882 and 1884.

Dr. Donald B. Marti donated this collection to the Minnesota Historical Society. The collection was transferred to the Southern Minnesota Historical Center in March 1979.
