Abstract

The Southern Minnesota Historical Center Photograph Collection consists of photographs and images of people and places pertaining to southern Minnesota and the greater Mankato area. While the majority of these images concern this section of the state, a few images relate to locations and people important to other portions of Minnesota. Dated pictures within the collection range from 1870 through 1936; however, a majority of other images were not dated but are known to have come from later dates.
