Abstract

The Dickey family scrapbook consists of a variety of items that range from clippings to photographs to manuscript documents. Subjects included in this scrapbook are the last will and testament of Sylvester Dickey, genealogical information about the Dickey family, and documents pertaining to the life and death of Edgar Dickey, a veteran of the Civil War. Lineages relate to the families of Edgar Dickey, Clara Parsons, Jeanette (Nettie) Harper Dickey, and Grace Margaret (Scofield) Wilson. Items contained in this collection were collected by E. Dudley Parsons and were arranged chronologically in his scrapbook. All materials, except the three photographs, are photocopies or scans of original documents.
