Ta, Jamie, 1985-. Oral History Interview, 2007
Abstract
The Jamie Ta collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Ta and Brian Johnson in October 2007. Ta attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2004-2008. In this interview, Ta talks about her experiences at Minnesota State Mankato with student organizations, campus diversity, her major, professors that stood out, college stereotypes, her on-campus job, and her normal school week; and personal hobbies.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical / Historical
Jamie Ta was born March 17, 1985, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She graduated from Waconia High School in Waconia, Minnesota in 2003. Ta attended Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota from 2003 to 2004 and then transferred to Minnesota State Mankato. She majored in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations and minored in interdisciplinary communications. Ta graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Department of Mass Communications.
