Abstract

The Emely Iverson collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Iverson and Kelly Smerdon in October 2007. Iverson attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2003-2008. In this interview, Iverson talks about why she attended college, her earliest memories, picking her majors, where she worked, the hardest things about school, and her plans after graduation.

This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical / Historical

Emely Iverson was born Sept. 1, 1984, in Edina Minnesota. Iverson graduated from Jordan High School in Jordan, Minnesota in 2003. She attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2003 to 2008 where she majored in Spanish and speech communication. Iverson graduated Magna Cum Laude (with great honor) May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication.
