Abstract

This collection consists of items that belonged to Jodi (Zemechel) Orchard of Mankato,Minnesota. The items pertain to her time at the Wilson Campus School, which was part of Mankato State College. The Campus School was an innovative learning environment for the students, and many non-traditional teaching methods were employed. Included in the collection are programs and music from performances that Orchard was a part of, photographs of sporting events at Wilson Campus School, copies of student publications. Orchard's progress reports, and other memorabilia from Wilson Campus School.

Biographical / Historical

Jodi Zemechel was bom in December 1957 in Mankato, Minnesota. She attended high school at the Wilson Campus School, which was part of Mankato State College. While there, she participated in musicals, plays, theater, and the student exchange program with Mexico. Zemechel later attended South Central Technical College in Mankato, where she studied commercial banking.

In 1979, Jodi Zemechel married Ronald Orchard. They have three children and live in the Mankato area.
