Abstract
The Judith Newton collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Newton and Jess Harris during the autumn of 1985. In the interview, Newton, a teacher in Staples, Minnesota from 1975 through 1985, discussed her role as a teacher and as a community member. Newton concluded the interview by noting changes she wanted to occur between the school and the community.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
