Abstract
The Margaret Pribyl collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Pribyl and Julie Skogen during the fall of 1986. Pribyl began working as an elementary school teacher at Waterville, Minnesota around 1954 and remained a teacher there until her retirement in 1985. In the interview, Pribyl noted the areas of change and continuity that she witnessed during her teaching career. She discussed community expectations, support staff, and the sources frustration and satisfaction during her career.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
