Abstract
The Donald Scheiber collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Scheiber and Terry Scheiber during the autumn of 1984. In the interview, Donald Scheiber, a teacher at Jordan High School in Jordan, Minnesota, discussed his observations concerning his participation in the Jordan Teachers’ Strike of 1981. He used the interview to explain the events leading to the strike, its initiation and running, and the conflict’s aftermath.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled History of Education in American Culture at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
