Fenske, Victor. "A Brief History of Madison Lake and Its Hinterland, 1855 - 1910", 1965
Abstract
This collection consists of a carbon copy of a paper written in 1965 by Victor Fenske. The paper gives a brief history of the agriculture, land and early life of the immigrants who settled in Madison Lake, Minnesota, and surrounding areas. Because it is a carbon copy, the maps and photographs that were included in the original are not available. The paper was written as an assignment for Dr. Bert Burns’ Historical Geography class at Mankato State College.
