Abstract
This collection consists of a paper written in 1965 by Dorothy Johnson. The paper is a history of Wasioja, which is a village on the Zumbro River in Dodge County, Minnesota. The establishment of the village, their involvement in the Civil War, church activities in the village, and the decline of population in Wasioja are all part of the paper. Newspaper clippings and a 1962 program from the Dodge County Historical Society are included in the paper as an appendix. The paper was written as an assignment for Dr. Bert Burns’ Historical Geography class at Mankato State College.
