Abstract
This collection consists of a paper written by Samuel W. Rankin about agriculture in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. He outlines the various types of labor required to produce crops, and traces the history of agriculture in Blue Earth County from 1843 to the 1960s. The paper was written in 1965, as an assignement for Dr. Burt Burns’ Historical Geography class at Mankato State College.
