Abstract
The Marv Berg collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript for an oral history interview conducted between Berg and Percy Lingen during the winter of 1987. In the interview, Berg discussed his experiences on the Board of Education in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota where he had served for five years with one year as the board’s chairperson. He noted the importance of personalities during negotiations and that financial concerns are the most significant topics addressed by school boards.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled Current Issues in Public Education at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
